Reliance happened to be the first telecom network provider
who dared to offer free calls facility to its users over a decade ago. Then came
the Jio era when Reliance decided to offer free data to customers and they
brought upon a new dawn of free mobile internet. Before that data plans were
shooting sky high altitudes and network operators didn’t give a damn to
customer woes. But with Jio, they were forced to cut down their prices by a
huge number.
Jio’s unprecedented success and unparalleled customer
concern forced a few network providers out of market and two major players (Vodafone
and IDEA) had to go for a merger. But it seems that Jio is not content yet. With
their latest post-paid plan with unlimited calls and 25GB data for just 199
INR, Jio is all set to make the competition tougher.
This new plan, called JioPostpaid, comes with unlimited
calls, international roaming and ISD calling. The new Jio post-paid service
also offers Zero Touch feature which includes services like voice, internet,
messaging and international calling pre-activated. The service will be
available for subscription from May 15.
The subscribers of JioPostPaid will also be able to get
unlimited plans with the Auto Pay feature that promises zero click payments. Users
will also be able to check their bills in real time and the same will be sent
to their e-mail addresses at the end of the month.
